How do you decorate a fireplace wall, when a fireplace is not centered and the living space is narrow and long? Here I added a shelving unit to the fireplace breast, thus creating one centered unit and two symmetrical alcoves to both sides (storage unit and bench on the left are actually in the kitchen). The place is decorated in traditional style.
